I began photographing children in southern Africa in 1999 and the last of the photos exhibited were taken in May 2008. They are from South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.

Sa'eed is the son of my colleague and friend Aslam Fataar and his wife Nadja.

This was taken on a school visit with Aslam Fataar to Delft, a township in Cape Town.
